Matthias Leeb is a committed trainee lawyer (Rechtsanwaltsanwärter) with a strong focus on corporate and commercial law. He completed his law degree at the University of Graz in early 2023 and has since gained wide‑ranging practical experience at leading Austrian law firms.
While still a student, Matthias worked as a research assistant at the Institute of Corporate and International Business Law. He then joined E+H Attorneys as an intern and later Legal Trainee in the Corporate/M&A practice, followed by an internship with GRAWE IMMO AG that deepened his understanding of real‑estate matters. From July 2023 he supported Baker McKenzie Vienna’s Corporate/M&A team as a trainee lawyer, advising on complex domestic and cross‑border transactions.
In 2023 he published an article examining recent CJEU case‑law on intra‑EU investment protection agreements, demonstrating his academic rigor in international economic law.
He is fluent in German and English.
