Sevhan Hoebek graduated from law school at the University of Ankara, focusing her academic work on the areas of banking, finance and commercial law. She is a member of the Bar Association of Ankara. In Turkey, she primarily worked as a consultant and advocate for one of Turkey’s most highly regarded banks (Halkbank) on matters related to commercial law and banking / business law.
In addition, Mrs. Hoebek has gained extensive experience in patent law and insolvency issues as a consultant for Lehman Brothers in Turkey, as well as in acquisition, investment and corporate analysis for RCT in Ankara.
In Vienna, she worked as a consultant in three different legal offices for the Turkish Desk and also at the Turkish Consulate as a legal consultant.
She serves as a representative for some of the most prominent Turkish business associations in Austria and aims to strengthen the two countries’ commercial ties through her active participation in the Austrian-Turkish Business Association (ATIS) in Vienna.
Thanks to her business networks across Turkey, Libya, the UAE and Iran, she works as an agent for investments between the countries and member states of the European Union.
Mrs. Hoebek also provides consultancy services in legal matters for private clients interested in investing and starting a business in Turkey.
She speaks German, English and Turkish.
